Microsoft is currently investigating a rather serious software glitch that has removed 1000 game titles, mostly Indie games, from the Xbox Game Store.
Gaming site Gamasutra has reported that several Indie Game developers noticed their titles were missing from the Store yesterday, including Milstone Studios who tweeted the following:
Wow, the indie games are disappearing by the minute, there were 2,100 a few minutes ago, now they are 949 http://t.co/acyxJCYAiw

The glitch is not limited to just Indie games either, with Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition, Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons and Trials HD now missing from the Xbox Store. A Microsoft Spokesperson said the following:
“We’re aware there is an issue affecting the Xbox Games Store that has temporarily removed some content including Xbox Live Arcade and Xbox Live Indie Games titles, this is a technical glitch and we’re working to fix the issue as soon as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience.”
At time of posting, the titles are still missing and a Service Status Update shows that Xbox Support are still investigating the Glitch
