It’s no secret that we didn’t really take to Twisted Pixel’s rather strange digital download by the name of LocoCycle, but that’s not to say we didn’t dislike everything about it! What felt like a basic offering better suited to the Xbox 360 is actually heading for the Xbox LIVE Arcade on Xbox 360 next month – February 14th (Valentines Day).
In a statement posted on Twisted Pixel Games website today:
We finally have a release date for the Xbox 360 version: Valentine’s Day! On Feb 14th you’ll be able to choo-choo-choose I.R.I.S. and Pablo to be your valentine for $10.
The developers are also releasing a Steam version and giving away a very specially designed custom Xbox 360 console to celebrate the multiplatform release of LocoCycle. You can enter to win and find out more information via this direct link.

I got to play the demo of this at last September’s Eurogamer Expo, and really loved it. The demo was a very early alpha build but the combat was fluid and smoothed and cell shaded style and animation really suited the game and story.

Plenty of Xbox One rumours floating around the internet and social media today. We have already seen the rumours of a possible Limited Edition White Xbox One, the model given to the Microsoft Team who worked on the One through development. And now another “Xbox Insider” has taken to NeoGAF to share these rumours:
Forza Horizon: “Fall 2014, probably September. Super sexy weather system and lots of social stuff. 1080P and open-world
Halo Anniversary 2
Quantum Break is Holiday 2014
Multiplayer confirmed for HA2, same devs as Halo Anniversary.
Sunset Overdrive is Fall 2014
Black Tusk cancelled project was called “Shangheist.
Fable Legends is Summer 2015
Halo 2 Anniversary includes beta for Halo 5
Gears of War will probably need a 2.5 year dev time.
First Titanfall DLC is 45 days from release, then another one 120 days from release.
No Crackdown 3 news this year most likely, since it’s a 2016 title.
HALO 2 Aninversary on Xbox One with a HALO 5 beta is similar to how HALO 3 ODST was shipped with a beta for HALO Reach MP. Rumours also suggest that HALO 3 and 4 will be ported across to the Xbox One, but currently no rumours at all for HALO 2 Anniversary to have an Xbox 360 release.
It must be said, none of this has been confirmed or denied officially by Microsoft or any one via Xbox so please take with a pinch of salt, and Microsoft rarely respond to any rumours at all until they are ready to make their announcements.
After a painful delay, Episode 2 of ‘The Wolf Among Us” is finally approaching release. A new trailer shows what we can expect from the next instalment of yet another amazing game series from Telltale Games.
Remember that sexy looking glossy white Xbox One console that was gifted to Microsoft Employees only last year leading up to the launch of the retail SKU Xbox One? Rumours on two other leading websites, NeoGaf and The verge according to their sources, claim that a white Xbox One console will be available in stores later this year!
Interestingly since the current Xbox One has a 500GB HDD, and with games and updates (as well as DLC content) being exceptionally resource heavy a newer console with a much larger HDD is very much needed and likely to be an “obvious” assumption later down the timeline for Xbox One. The HDD is non removable, so a fix or HDD add-on is required for almost every Day One and current retail Xbox One console which couldn’t really hold more than 12 retail games if they averaged 30-40GB each!
Both sites have revealed that a disc-free Xbox One console is in the works with a bluetooth adapter as well as a major dashboard update for the Xbox One to address many issues.
Should Microsoft release any official information, we’ll keep you posted.
