Valley coming to Xbox One in August

From the same people who bought us Slender : The Arrival comes and open world exploration game called Valley. Blue Isle Studios have you sporting an exo skeleton suit called L.E.A.F that grants speed, agility and the ability to manipulate life and death in all living things.

Valley is a first person exploration that sees you explore your way through forests, ruins and massive environments. L.E.A.F stands for “Leap Effortlessly though Air Functionality”, so you can imagine how you’re going to get about these vast landscapes.

The main objective is to find an old relic and on your way you discover strange creatures, but above all prevent the Lifeseed relic from getting into the wrong hands as this will mean the end of humanity!

If this is anything like Slender then I do feel you will be walking through the valley in the shadow of death!

Game Features:-

Xbox calling at The Final Station in August

Final Station

We’d all love to be a train driver, right? How about driving a train in a zombie-infested apocalypse? It’d be like the next chapter in Shaun of the Dead.

Developer Tiny Build have been cranking out the games this year, with Mr. Shifty being just one of their projects on Xbox One. They have now revealed that their workload schedule is near capacity but running on time with the announcement of The Final Station.

This post-apocalyptical survival adventure takes you through a dying world, inhabited by the strange, the mutated and the dead. You are the driver of a train as it travels through this environment. Look after your passengers, keep your train operational to make sure you can always reach the next station.

Fight your way through swarms of infected in mysterious and abandoned stations while you look for supplies and other survivors. These last vestiges of society are desperate for the help too. If they’re to stay alive you’re going to have to risk getting off the train to look for food, water and medicines.

You’ll also be able to find the tools you’ll need to keep moving, but they’re behind closed doors, as is danger. Devices or doom. You’ll need to open them to find out and therein lies the tension.

Pick up your gun and delve into the wastelands to stay alive and mobile.

The Final Station will be calling at platform Xbox One from the 30th of August.

Darksiders returning for the apocolypse

Darksiders has to be one of my all time favourite games, the hack n’ slash game play mixed in with some insane combos that don’t take a degree in button bashing means for an epic gaming experience. Darksiders and Darksiders 2 follow 1 of the four horsemen of the apocolypse through some tricky puzzle areas and massive boss battles. Whilst Darksiders 2 was bigger in scale, had more DLC it has already seen a remaster,  but it seems Darksiders 1 wants a piece of the pie.

The oddly named Darksiders : Warmastered Edition will launch on Xbox One and other platfiorms, giving the game better visuals and chance for those who missed it in 2010 to give it a good go. To be honest a Darksiders 3 would be more appreciated but due to THQ going down that’s not something that’s going to happen soon. Oh well seems as though this will do for now.

Hers”s a list of what is promised:-

  • Native 1080p rendering resolution for console platforms
  • 4k support and additional video options for PC
  • Doubled all the texture resolutions
  • Rendering improvements and rework
  • Better shadow rendering quality
  • Post processing effects
  • 60 FPS in moment to moment gameplay

Set for release on October the 25th for £14.99

Are you ready for Warhammer: The End Times – Vermintide?

Today Fatshark and Nordic Games have announced that they will partner in the console release of the up and coming Warhammer: The End times – Vermintide. Fatshark will self-publish the digital versions of the game for consoles, and Nordic Games will publish the physical editions worldwide. So lock your doors and get prepared, as on October 4th the Skaven are coming.

Vermintide pits you and three others against vile and endless Skaven hordes, which have overrun the city of Ubersreik. You must fight the menace together as four out of five heroes, each with unique play styles, personalities and weapon arsenals. It’s survival of the fittest, either you finish them or they will finish you.

When asked about the announcement Martin Wahlund, CEO at Fatshark said “More than half a million PC gamers have already taken Vermintide to their heart, and this fall it’s time for console players to do the same. The consoles will get an extended version that includes all DLCs released for the PC version to date. We are over the moon to be working with Nordic Games on this release as their experience and expertise are incomparable.”

Reinhard Pollice, Business and Product Development Director at Nordic Games followed on to say “The combination of Fatshark and Warhammer seems too good to be true. We do have quite a few fanboys in our team, who played Krater, Lead and Gold, and – of course – also played the hell out of Warhammer Vermintide on PC. To say we are stoked to work with Fatshark on Warhammer Vermintide for consoles and the physical edition for PC is the understatement of 2016 in my book”

Vermintide -Composer

The console version of Warhammer: The End Times – Vermintide will include the super challenging Last Stand game mode as well as its two maps, where the players fend off horde after horde of Skaven in intense and increasingly difficult battles. It will also include Sigmar’s Blessing as well as the Drachenfels DLC, which contains three additional adventure maps set outside of Ubersreik.

Check out the official site for more information on Warhammer: The End Times – Vermintide. The console version will be released for Xbox One on October 4th.
