Demon hunter Victor Vran coming to Xbox

Victor Vran

Victor Vran is one of those games that seems inspired by so many other things that it’s original in itself. The current Steam hit, by Haemimont Games, mixes action and RPG in a frenzy of demon-killing and destruction, garnering much praise from critics and community alike. The developer has teamed up with publisher, Wired Productions, to announce that they intend on bringing Victor Vran to Xbox One in 2017.

Set in a beautiful but dark gothic world, Victor Vran is an intense ride of demons, ghosts and spells. With a stunning soundtrack as a backdrop, experience frantic combat as the titular demon bounty hunter, laden with past-life troubles that weigh heavily on his shoulders.

Forge your own hero as you quest to rid the city of Zagoravia from demonic monsters and malevolent creatures. Use your skills to dodge deadly attacks from demons, leap from towering locations and crush the skulls of your foes with brutal efficiency.

The developers have rebuilt Victor Vran from the ground up for console, using Haemimont’s own proprietary game engine. This will deliver 60fps whilst keeping the esthetic feel of the game’s dark atmosphere. The isometric action RPG will also feature local 2-player co-op and online 4 player co-op action, to keep the whole family interested, with daily and weekly maps to slash through.

Haemimont Games’ CEO Gabriel Dobrev;

We’re excited to be working with Wired Productions to bring Victor Vran to millions of players around the world. Our original vision was to shake up the RPG genre by delivering the first all-action role playing game, and the response from the press and fans alike has been incredible. This partnership with Wired Productions will allow us to grow that fan base, and to engage with more players than ever before.

It is expected that Victor Vran will bring his demon slaying madness to Xbox One both digitally and physically in early 2017.

Yes, there’s a trailer. Cue the gravelly-voiceover.

MX Vs. ATV Official Track Edition release date announced

MX Vs. ATV Supercross Encore was released on next gen earlier this year and it was received with mixed reviews. It seems however that THQ Nordic aren’t letting negativity get to them and they’re releasing MX Vs. ATV Official Track Edition on January the 4th 2017 to coincide with the Supercross season starting on the 7th.

If you already own MX Vs. ATV Supercross Encore then you can download the Track Edition at a discounted price as DLC for around £20, however the boxed version of the Official Track Edition will be full price but will include the original game too.

If you have never played an Mx Vs. ATV title then check out the TiX review HERE.

Bigben heads into the sunset with Test Drive

The open world of Test Drive captured the hearts of many racing fans, but if it was so popular then why hasn’t it revved its engines onto Xbox One? Well maybe because it needed a new developer/publisher to nurture it onto current platforms – and that time is now.

Bigben Interactive have acquired the Test Drive brand.

“We are more than confident with respect to the quality of this franchise, which is loved by so many players,” stated Alain Falc, CEO of Bigben Interactive. “Our teams are very enthusiastic at the idea of being able to work on this license, which has already proven its worth – the game Test Drive Unlimited 2 sold 1.8 million units,” he concluded.

Bigben are renowned for producing racing titles, but can it do the Test Drive brand justice? Only time will tell!

Dubbed “War of Factions”, this limited time event will track all activity during the beta and reward participating warriors and the winning faction.

Once the game launches in February, Faction War will become a regular cross-platform conflict – cross-platform? – with each season lasting 10 weeks, resuming once awards are dished out and an off-season period has passed.

Sign up now for a taste of what For Honor offers – which faction will you be siding with?
