10tons announce “JYDGE” for Xbox One

10tons, the Finland based independent developer of roguelike “Neon Chrome” have today announced their new game, called JYDGE, which will be coming to Xbox later in 2017.

JYDGE is a top-down shooter where the player gets to build a cybernetic JYDGE and fight crime in the never-sleeping megacity of Edenbyrg. The customisation of the character, the Gavel rifle and the selection of companion drones greatly alters how the game is played, for example using drones more than your rifle will give a stealth game experience.

In addition to extensive customization, JYDGE features a large amount of missions and secondary challenges. For example, a level’s primary mission might be to deal with a gang of bank robbers. Secondary challenges might include rescuing all hostages, completing the level in less than 30 seconds, and completing the primary mission without being seen. Completing missions and secondary challenges awards medals, which in turn unlock new cybernetic enhancements, weapon modifications, special weapons, missions, and more.

“While Neon Chrome has been a great success for us, we quickly learned that procedurally generated levels and roguelike elements are not for everyone. We’ve built JYDGE specifically for people preferring a carefully hand-crafted yet highly customizable top-down shooter. We call this a roguehate game.”

said Tero Alatalo, CEO of 10tons.

Go For A Ride With The New Agents Of Mayhem Trailer

The Agents of Mayhem are back and they have a brand new trailer showcasing the luxury vehicles you’ll be able to drive around Seoul, it’s a big place after all. When the Agents aren’t using their teleportation abilities, or climbing up the side of the massive buildings, or using the many construction sites that are repairing the damage done on Devil’s Night to get around the city, the best way to move around the streets is by taking one of their fleet of luxury vehicles created by the automotive genius of the ARK, Quartermile.

He takes his love of luxury cars seriously and treats them with the love and respect they deserve.

There are even modes for training and single player survivor!  With so many tools at your disposal, there are a million ways to play and no match is the same.

The Culling is a Game Preview title, which means the developer will be closely monitoring your feedback and improving the game as it nears the official release date.

Caught off guard and drawn into a power struggle, players must disrupt the carefully laid plans of the Project at Eden’s Gate, and fan the fires of resistance to help liberate the Hope County community and themselves.

New trailer hits for Micro Machines World Series

Micro Machines

Codemasters and Koch Media have today released the next gameplay trailer for the evergreen and anticipated Micro Machines Word Series. Racing has always been at the heart of Micro Machines and Codemasters are the arguable kings of the racing genre.

Micro Machines World Series sees the action focus firmly on the cars and racing, with hundreds of customisations available. You can race in style and make sure you stand out on the starting line.

Chief game designer, Gavin Cooper:

For the first time in a Micro Machines game, every car has its own entirely distinct personality, and arsenal! Each gives players a different way to play and enjoy the game, meaning fans of the series will have plenty to sink their teeth into. Players will quickly gain an affinity with a particular vehicle and find it suits their style of play. You can master one vehicle by collecting all the 25+ customisations, but then have a whole host of variety choosing and mastering all the other vehicles in the game.

So, each car will have a slightly different feel, sound and even handling in Micro Machines World Series. Choose from 12 very individual vehicles, from the twitchy but agile rear wheel drive drift-prone hotrod of El Incendio to the scarily good all-rounder of Hank N. Stein’s monster truck. That’s not all the game will offer though.

Micro Machines World Series will boast a mix of classic and all-new tracks and arenas. New locations, like the workshop will sit snugly alongside the classics, like the games room and classroom.

Players will also get the opportunity to pick up Hasbro-branded NERF blasters and NERF power-ups. These can be deployed in and around Hasbro-branded locations which include a Ouija Board and a Hungry Hungry Hippos battle.

All of this is commented on by the voice talents of Prince Vultan himself. Yes, Brian Blessed shouts majestically at you from the comfort of your armchair as you battle to win each race. What more could you ask for?

Micro Machines World Series is scheduled ot hit the Xbox One on the 23rd of June.
