Black Ops II, currently in development by Treyarch and scheduled to drop to retail this Fall, has the most ambitious and biggest Zombie mode experience yet says the studio’s Director of Communications in a recent interview.
Quoted by John Rafacz, Director of Communications to DigitalSpy:
“The zombies mode is being developed in with the multiplayer engine, so you can imagine taking everything we can do in multiplayer and seeing how that’s applied to the co-op mode.
“The team has talked about things like four-vs-four and a range of new modes that we will get into down the road, but I can tell you without a doubt that it is easily the most ambitious and biggest zombies universe that we’ve ever attempted.”
Back in May, Treyarch’s Mark Lamia expressed the same sentiment, stating: “If you like zombies, you’re going to be really happy with what we’re doing with Black Ops II.”
Call of Duty: Black Ops II will release worldwide on November 13th 2012.
