Resident Evil 6 – Six Player Co Op Outed By Microsoft

A few days ago the very strange viral website “No Hope Left” guided us towards the announcement of Resident Evil 6 – however, what we didn’t know was that the game is set to feature six player co-operative gameplay!

Six Player Co-Op would be a first for the Resident Evil franchise, and was revealed by a listing on Xbox.com as detailed in the image above stating that whilst Offline Co-Op is limited to two players – the Online mode is for two to six. Additionally Xbox.com also state that Resident Evil 6 will have an Online Multiplayer game type for up to eight players over Xbox LIVE.

Resident Evil 6, is set in 2013, 10 years after the Raccoon City incident, the world faces the horror of a global scale bioterrorism attack. Set in an epic scale with more horror, more realistic and more drama.

Resident Evil 6 will be released on November 20th, 2012.
