Assassin’s Creed Rogue Remastered sails for console

News PlayStation Trailers Xbox One

It was just the other day that I hovered over the purchase button for Assassin’s Creed Rogue, of course, that would have been for a backwards compatible copy – so the news that this will be the latest Ubisoft game to get the remastered treatment makes me very happy indeed.

Hitting the high seas on March 20, 2018, Assassin’s Creed Rogue Remastered will include all previously released DLC, bonus missions The Armor of Sir Gunn Quest and The Siege of Fort de Sable, plus the Master Templar and Explorer packs, which contain cosmetic items.

Originally launching around the same time as Assassin’s Creed Unity, Rogue tells a very different story from what we have become used to from the series – Shay Patrick Cormac goes from Assassin to Templar!

The remaster is being handled by the game’s original studio, Ubisoft Sofia, and will include a lick of pixellated paint with higher resolution, improved environment rendering, visual effects and textures.

I've been gaming for longer than I care to remember and spent four years writing for another XCN website leading a 10 strong team. Now I'm in charge of TiX alongside Dave Moran – I hope you enjoy what we do!

It’s been a solid day for announcements today! Rogue is the AC title that I skipped, too, but not this time.

Same – great to offer the X360 and PS3 a Creed title of their own, but sucked that those that moved on missed this one
