Games and sports – what more could you ask for in life? I'm from the "land of castles", Wales and for my sins I support Arsenal and the Green Bay Packers.

New Lego Jurassic World trailer shows off release date

As you probably guessed when the game was officially announced LEGO Jurassic World will be launching the same day as it’s movie counterpart hits the big screen (and my 30th birthday), 12 June! So, there’s my Birthday present to myself sorted!

The trailer below shows off a bunch of stuff that you can do in the game including building things with those clever girls, the Velociraptors. Being a fan of the LEGO franchise and a MASSIVE Jurassic Park fan I cannot wait for all things Lego Jurassic World….especially the game.

Odell Beckham Jnr grabs the Madden 2016 cover spot

So the Daft is done & dusted and it’s about four months before the NFL kicks off and I for one cannot get anymore excited. Well, I thought I couldn’t then the Madden 2016 game gets a cover star and a little preview video and now I’ve got even more pumped.

As mentioned; the cover star has been voted in, as it is every year with the NFL games, this year sees non-other than NY Giants 22-year-old Wide Receiver and NFL’s Rookie of the year (and Offensive Rookie of the Year), Odell Beckham Jr take the cover spot – and after THAT catch against the Cowboys, he deserves it.

Beckham Jnr fought off the likes of Steelers Receiver Antonio Brown, Cardials Cornerback Patrick Peterson, and Patriots Tight End Rob Gronkowski to become the youngest ever player to be put on the cover of a Madden game.

With that EA Sports have also released a small preview video for the game titled ‘be the playmaker’ which is a fitting title with the chosen cover star who made A LOT of big plays for the Giants last season.

Madden 16 will be available from 25 August, 2015.

Arkham Knight trailer shows off returning characters and more

Earlier today the trailer below leaked ahead of its release, it seems to be the in thing at the moment, Warner Brothers have now officially lifted the lid on the “All who follow you” trailer and it looks awesome!

If you’re trying to keep a closed lid on everything Dark Knight, then you may want to avoid this trailer, as it shows of a load of characters and some really neat new stuff.

Right, so there’s the spoiler alert klaxon sounded… now on to the awesome stuff. The trailer shows off some great new features, like co-op take downs, something that Rocksteady said wouldn’t happen. It does however look like they’ve taken on board feedback from community forums and made it to be an AI controlled co-operative skull mashing rather than the standard local/online co-op that we all know and love.

There are also returning characters such as Catwoman, Robin and Nightwing who played parts in the previous Arkham games. You may also spot Azrael lighting up Gotham’s skyline with rooftop fires.

The trailer still leaves a lot of questions, which is good, I can’t wait to get my hands on it when it releases in June.

Star Wars: Battlefront release date announced

Seems that the eagle-eye’d NEO GAFer that brought the rumored release date for the upcoming Star Wars Battlefront game was spot-on (strong in this one, the force is) and the games release isn’t that far far away.

Today sees the announcement that EA is to indeed launch the upcoming Star Wars title in North America on the 17th, around parts of Europe on the 19th and then jolly UK on the 20th of November, 2015.

Battlefront see’s a collaboration between Lucas Arts and the award-winning Frost Bite engine which is said to “deliver an incredibly authentic and immersive interactive entertainment”. But, we’ll be the judges of that when the title blasts its way into stores later this year. But, If this trailer is anything to go by, we’re in for a treat!

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided confirmed

deus ex mankind divided asldkna

Square Enix have confirmed rumours of a new Deus Ex title today by announcing that, the direct sequel for the 2011’s title.

Mankind Divided will be set in 2029, a whole two years later than the previous title, where you will once again revive the role of the returning, Adam Jensen, who has new abilities such as remote hacking, a projectile ‘Nano blade’ , and a Nano shield (which is said to be pretty much impenetrable, according the blurb)

If you have played and finished, Human Revolution and had one of the four endings possible in that game, you will be disappointed to hear that your actions seemingly won’t carry over to Mankind Divided.

We’re yet to get a launch date for the game, so expect to see more about this game in the coming months.
