What games are heading to Xbox this week?

There is a whole host of titles heading to Xbox this week, what are they you ask? Let us fill you in.

Doughlings

Doughlings brings unique gameplay mechanics through its interesting characters while combining the best that Arkanoid games have to offer, polished with a modern look and design. Don’t let Morpheus lose his ball and try to clear the screen with everything you got!

Frost

Frost is a deck-building, solo survival card game set on a harsh, frozen world ravaged by a lethal storm. You must lead a group of nomads in search of the Refuge and battle the unrelenting threat of the frost. Your trek will be full of dangers like wolves, cannibals, hunger, and fatigue. Manage your cards wisely to stay alive and make it all the way to the Refuge.

Guts and Glory

A game about father and son riding their bicycle through obstacle courses of death… and other fun, family experiences. Dodge spinning saw blades, deadly spikes, explosives, turrets, and a growing list of other hazards while navigating insane tracks set in a wide variety of environments.

Nidhogg 2

Sequel to the indie hit of 2014, Nidhogg 2 builds upon the award-winning gameplay of its predecessor with new weapons to wield and levels to master, head-to-toe character customization, and the captivatingly grotesque art of Toby Dixon.

The Mooseman

You are the Mooseman and you can see all that is hidden to the mortal eye. Embark on an adventure where you will visit the three layers of the universe, the first one is the Lower World where the spirits of the dead reside. Welcome to a mysterious world of ancient myth.

The Long Reach

The Long Reach takes place in New Hampshire, in the fictional town of Baervox. This action adventure game draws its inspiration from Lone Survivor and The Cave and classic adventure games. You don’t just play in a post-apocalyptic world or explore a fairy-filled fantasy world; you’re in the thick of it, just around the corner from the place where you buy your groceries.

Mugsters

Aliens have taken over the planet and enslaved humanity. Only you have the know-how to drive back the dastardly threat, free your fellow Earthlings and save the world. Mugsters is a physics-based, supercharged, action-packed puzzler with sandbox levels where you must outrun, out-maneuver, and outsmart your enemies by experimenting with different vehicles, environmental traps, and explosives.

The Path of Motus

For generations, a village of goblins has been trapped inside a mysterious forest — anyone who attempts to leave returns hopeless and defeated. Determined to break new ground, a young goblin named Motus plans to build a series of bridges through the forest. Will you find a way through life’s forest, or like others be lost in its depths with no will to continue?

Adventure Time: Pirates of the Enchiridion

Ahoy! The Land of Ooo is underwater and it’s up to Finn and Jake to find out why. Join our heroes as they explore the high seas, search for hidden clues, interrogate shady suspects and fight pirates to solve the mystery and save their waterlogged world.

Tempest 4000

Tempest 4000 describes itself as faithful to the original fast-paced gameplay while adding exciting new features and gorgeous graphics. With three game modes to choose from and 100 levels to conquer, you must eliminate all enemies as quickly as possible to survive, aiming for the coveted spot at the top of the leaderboards.

Mothergunship

Mothergunship mixes bullet-hell intensity with the FPS genre and promises one of the largest gun customization options seen in games. Want to build a gun with 15 barrels that will cover all sides of the screen? Or do you prefer a shotgun that can shoot bouncing spike balls? Go for it! The design of your destructive arsenal is in your hands.

and there you go, which game will you be picking up this week?

3 Reasons why Xbox players are trying out casino games

When it comes to the practical aspects of online casino gaming, most people assume that the only way to play is to use a tablet or laptop. However, in reality, it’s possible to use a whole host of other pieces of gear to enjoy the best online casino games. You can, for example, play through your internet-enabled smartphone, or you can use a more traditional games console. You might not always be playing for real cash, but the games are just as realistic and gripping!

The Xbox, for example, offers a whole host of big win opportunities. One example of this was the CNN story about Jan Flato who almost won $100,000. These include a range of game choices, free access to many games, and the capacity to enjoy games that use cutting-edge design features. While some may believe that the Xbox is just for fighter games, that’s definitely not the case! This article will explore the major ways that your Xbox can be transformed into an online gambling machine.

Choice

While the Xbox might not have the largest range of popular casino games on the market, many of the major casino game types are represented here – so you’ll be sure to find the game that you want to play. Unsurprisingly given the capacity the Xbox’s graphics system has to emulate the fast-moving and exciting world of slot machines, slot games are very popular. However, you don’t have to restrict yourself to slot games, and there are other popular choices available, including blackjack and bingo. Some Xbox casino games also include elements from other game genres, such as the word games available in the Vegas Downtown Slots app.

Price

One particular boon of using your Xbox to play online casino games is that it’s possible to download some of the available games without having to pay. All of the Xbox casino games currently in the Xbox online store on the Microsoft website, for example, are available to download for free. They’re not always fully free to properly use, given that they often require in-app purchases for full enjoyment, but it’s handy to save some cash up front.

Enhanced design

The Xbox has gone through various iterations since the early days of the original early-2000s console, and the console is now compatible with all sorts of enjoyable and enhanced in-game design features. You can make the most of the 3D capabilities of your Xbox One X, for example, by playing the Pure Hold’em games. These have been designed with vivid, multi-dimensional imagery – meaning that the Xbox is the perfect way to make the most of them.

While it may be perceived by many to just be a simple vehicle for shootout games and other genres, the Xbox can clearly do so much more. It’s possible, for example, to enjoy some online gambling through your Xbox console. From the wide selection of games that you can choose from to the way that you can make the most of the latest game design features, the Xbox is an ideal companion on your online casino game journey.

Fornite season 5 has begun, find out what has changed

Fornite Season 5 has arrived and it the biggest update to the game so far.

You can drop in now and find all kinds of changes to the Battle Royale map. A Viking ship, desert outpost, ancient statues have appeared on the island, and Moisty Mire has been hit with a drought, bringing with it a brand new desert outpost.

Fortnite now has it’s first vehicle, hop in the zippy All Terrain Kart (ATK) with their squad and uncover all-new mysteries and locations.

Below is a small section of the patch notes:

  • When the “Invited to Party” prompt appears in the UI you can now immediately accept the invite rather than having to open the Party Finder.
  • The News widget has been adjusted to avoid the need for a scrollbar in most cases.
    • A scroll option has been added for controller users in the event that scrolling is needed.
  • Updated consoles to use less shader storage. This improves patch sizes and reduces load times.
  • Optimized file ordering to reduce load times on all platforms.
  • The “Epic Friends” button now appears on the Main Menu when using a gamepad on Windows or Mac.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue that intermittently caused the Push-To-Talk setting to not function as intended.
  • Blocked players will no longer show as suggested friends.

The full list can be found on the Epic website.

The Phenomenal AJ Styles is the new cover star of WWE 2K19.

AJ seems happy about being the star too:

As a hardcore gamer and ambassador of everything it means to ‘Never Say Never’ in both my professional and personal life, it is a dream come true to be selected as the WWE 2K19 cover Superstar. Get ready to join me in the virtual ring, because WWE 2K19 and the WWE 2K19 Million Dollar Challengewill be nothing short of phenomenal!

See? There aren’t too many deatils about the game just yet, however, there will be a new experience in the form of the The Million-Dollar Challenge. Anyone who purchases the game gets the chance to compete online for a chance to challenge Styles one-on-one.

To qualify, you’ll need to:

  • Make it to the semi-final round of competition and beat the other three semifinalists in WWE 2K19;

Ahead of its release on August 24, Codemasters have released a trailer for F1 2018, featuring the classic cars that will be available in the game.

The new trailer shows off the championship winning 2009 Brawn BGP-001, as driven by that year’s F1 World Champion Jenson Button and his team mate, Rubens Barrichello, and the 2003 Williams FW25, of Juan Pablo Montoya and Ralf Schumacher.
