Injustice 2 – How Superman went Superbad

Warner Bros, Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment have revealed yet another trailer for the up and coming game Injustice 2. This time we are focussing on Superman’s character and background story. Check out how Superman and his Regime are going from Superheroes to Superbad as they try to rise to power once more and become one of Earth’s greatest threats. So sit back, relax and check out the latest trailer, Shattered Alliance Part 1.

Developed by NetherRealm Studios, Injustice 2 features a massive roster of DC Super Heroes and Super-Villains and allows players to build and power up the ultimate version of their favourite DC characters. Pre-orders are now available for the Deluxe and Ultimate Editions and will include the following;

Deluxe:

  • Injustice 2 Game
  • 3 DLC Fighters
  • 1 Premier Skin (transforming Supergirl into Powergirl, with all new look, voice and dialogue)

Atari classics coming to Xbox One

Now who doesn’t like a bit of classic retro gaming, well I know I certainly do and the classics of the past will soon be returning to the Xbox One in the form of Atari Flashback Classics – Volumes 1 & 2.

Featuring over a 100 remastered titles, all in HD, players new and old can now relive the classics of Combat, Centipede, Star Raiders, Asteroids, Haunted House Adventures and many more. Each volume will contain 50 games and apart from boasting an extensive visual archive of classic artwork for each game, both volumes also include a range of new in-game features. Gamers can now play online, unlock achievements and try their best to secure a place on global leaderboards.

When asked about the up and coming release Frédéric Chesnais, CEO of Atari said “We are glad to bring these games to PS4 and Xbox One in Europe with our partners. These games have been released more than 45 years ago, but there is always something new and exciting about them, and I am sure all players will enjoy them.”

This was further followed up by Andy Pearson, Head of Marketing (Hardware and Tech) at distributors PQube, saying “With retro gaming increasing in popularity, it’s great to see more classics get a new lease of life on two of today’s best-selling consoles. Both games offer fantastic value for money and will help bring popular Atari 2600 video games like Asteroids to a new generation of gamers.”

Human Conditions DLC coming to Watch Dogs 2

So who is a fan of Watch Dogs 2? Well the good news is that you won’t have to wait much longer before the new DLC drops. Titled Human Conditions, the new DLC promises to be a meaty one, bringing new challenges to Marcus and his crew. So sit back, relax and enjoy this little preview of what’s to come.

Human Conditions will bring three new multi-mission Operations to the story and will include new areas to explore and a whole host of new and interesting unique challenges.

For Honor release Accolade Trailer

For Honor has been out for just under a week and as a thank you for all the positive feedback received, Ubisoft have released an awesome Accolade Trailer.

For Honor, the new action IP from Ubisoft brings together a trio of factions and their deadly warriors onto one battlefield. Fight as Knight, Viking or Samurai as they battle across lush, challenging battle maps. Master medieval weaponry and participate in brutal, fast-paced melee combat in an engaging story campaign and novel multiplayer modes.

Girl power comes to Injustice 2

It’s Valentine’s Day and what better way to celebrate than for the latest Injustice 2 reveal trailer to really show us what girl power is all about. Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment today unveiled the latest trailer for their up and coming game, celebrating DC Universes most iconic female characters.

Watch as Cheetah, Catwoman and Poison Ivy battle it out against the likes of Black Canary, Wonder Woman and Swamp Thing, proving that you are going to be in a serious world of pain if you forgot to buy them flowers this Valentine’s Day.

Injustice 2 is NetherRealm Studios’ sequel to its hit game Injustice: Gods Among Us that allows players to build and power up the ultimate version of their favorite DC characters. Featuring a massive selection of DC Super Heroes and Super-Villains, Injustice 2 continues the story from the previous game as Batman and his allies work towards putting the pieces of society back together while struggling against those who want to restore Superman’s regime.  In the midst of all this chaos though a new threat appears that will put Earth’s existence at risk.

Halo Wars 2 reveals official launch trailer

Who is psyched about the up and coming release of Halo Wars 2? I know I am, especially after getting hold of it during the Open Beta Blitz Mode. Well to build up the hype even more the team have just released the official launch trailer. So grab you popcorn, get comfy and check it out below.

Lead armies of Spartans and other Halo fighting forces like Warthogs, Scorpions and exciting new units in a brutal war against a terrifying new enemy. Featuring campaign, multiplayer, and the all-new Blitz mode, get ready for the biggest Halo battlefield ever.

For those who have Halo Wars 2 Ultimate Edition, you will be able to get your hands on the game via early access on February 17th. Everyone else will have to wait till the 21st February.

Mafia 3 reveals planned DLC content for 2017

Hangar 13 makers of Mafia 3, have announced their plans to extend the story of Lincoln in New Bordeaux with the addition of 3 new DLC expansions this year. Titled ‘Faster Baby’, ‘Stones Unturned’ and ‘Sign of the Times’, each expansion will add new gameplay mechanics, activities, environments and rewards to the game while delivering tight, focused, and compelling narratives.

Mafia 3 - Extended DLC

  • Faster Baby – Due out at the end of March brings fast cars, dramatic chases, and epic stunt driving to the game. Lincoln joins forces with Roxy Laveau, a sister-in-arms out to take down a corrupt Sheriff terrorizing Civil Rights activists on the outskirts of New Bordeaux.
  • Stones Unturned – Due out May, puts you in a story where Lincoln must join forces with CIA agent John Donovan to settle a blood feud that began in the war-torn jungles of Vietnam.
  • Sign of the Times – Due out July, see’s a string of ritualistic killings in New Bordeaux. At Father James’ request, Lincoln agrees to hunt down the cult responsible, a quest that will take him from the dark heart of the old bayou to the drug-ridden counterculture of the inner city.

All three DLC Expansions will be free to all holders of the Mafia 3 Season Pass and will be available to buy seperately for non Season Pass holders. As always these dates are forecasts by the development team and are subject to change.

Live Fire is new 6v6 Pilot only mode, bringing competitive close quarters combat to Titanfall 2. Featuring two brand new maps specifically designed for the new mode, Stacks and Meadow bring fast paced, intense, tight quarters combat in a box.
