Divinity: Original Sin II

This game is as close as you can get to a Dungeons & Dragons campaign in video game form. Depending on the character you choose and the choices you make throughout the game as you tackle various quests, one playthrough will be massively different to another, which makes Divinity: Original Sin II a highly enjoyable and re-playable experience.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim – Special Edition

Dark Souls III

The Dark Souls series of games has had an undeniable impact on role-playing games, and all of the games are first-rate. But the concluding chapter of Dark Souls III is arguably the best. You play as the protagonist who needs to locate and return the five Lords of Cinder to their rightful thrones at Firelink Shrine, so that the flame may burn bright once again. As with the other Dark Souls games, you will encounter various enemies with different abilities and behaviors. Some of them even alter their combat patterns during fights.

Dark Souls III was the fastest-selling Bandai Namco game ever, and it has won numerous awards, including the 2016 Golden Joystick Awards’ Game of the Year.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

The third installment in The Witcher series, based on the fantasy novels of Andrzej Sapkowski, is often cited as the greatest video game ever made. There was a huge undertaking to replicate the authenticity of the novels, which means there is an enormous amount of detailed thought put into The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Indeed, the developers took three and a half years to create the game, and the voice recording took two and a half years. It also has an incredibly immersive soundtrack, which was performed by the Brandenburg State Orchestra.

As for the plot of The Witcher 3, the monster-slayer Geralt of Rivia is trying to find his adopted daughter, who is on the run from the otherworldly Wild Hunt force that is determined to capture the girl for her powers. Alongside the main story, there are plenty of side quests to keep players entertained, and as you acquire more points and gold, you increase Geralt’s abilities. Also, you will love playing The Witcher again and again because the main story has several endings, which are determined by the choices you make at certain key points throughout the game.
