Black Ops 3 last DLC brings day of reckoning

DLC News Trailers Xbox LIVE Xbox One Xbox One S

The fourth DLC coming to Black Ops 3 has been announced and with it comes the day of reckoning. Titled Salvation, the latest DLC will bring four new maps to the multiplayer experience as well as the long awaited thrilling climax to Zombies Origins.

The Origins characters have taken an epic journey through space and time with all of their struggles leading to this very moment. In Revelations – the final chapter of the Zombies experience – Richtofen, Dempsey, Takeo, and Nikolai finally come face-to-face with the mysterious Doctor Monty in The House. Confronted by an ancient evil, our heroes must fight the zombie horde once more in the final battle to save their immortal souls…

Along with the final chapter in the zombies experience the dlc will also bring 4 new multiplayer maps, however a couple of these look familiar, can you spot them?

  • Citadel: Once home to a powerful sorcerer, this ancient castle now sits broken and haunted. Tight corners force close-quarters engagements, while the moat and drawbridge allow for unique Core Movement opportunities in this mid-sized map. The last trespassers didn’t make it out alive – maybe you’ll have a better shot.
  • Micro: What’s better than some cake and a BBQ on a hot summer day? A miniaturized combat zone that takes place on a well-stocked family patio table, that’s what! Navigate larger-than-life food items and dinnerware in this bite-size battlefield.
  • Outlaw: Gear up for a showdown in Outlaw; a western-style re-imagining of the fan favorite map Standoff from Call of Duty: Black Ops 2. This rough-and-tough medium-sized map brings classic engagements, flanking routes and strategic positions for long and medium ranged combat.
  • Rupture: The Call of Duty: World at War classic Outskirts is re-imagined as a high-tech facility, designed by a futuristic society desperate to repair the Earth’s atmosphere. Hop in and take control of one of the security battle mechs to unleash a barrage of heavy machine gun and rocket destruction.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 – Salvation will be available to playstation users on the 6th September, so expect it to be released for the Xbox One around a month later, 4th October.
