The Blackout Club will ask the ‘Question’ next year

News Trailers Xbox One

How’s this for a line-up: the Creative Director and Lead Writer of BioShock 2, the Senior Gameplay Programmer of Dishonored, and the Lead Effects Artist for BioShock Infinite? Well, this is just part of the team that makes up Question and they are bringing their cooperative four player paranormal horror mystery game to Xbox One early next year.

The Blackout Club, sees a group of friends investigate mysterious blackouts that keep happening around their town – some occur for days on end. The action is set at night, with three other players, where you must work together in order to get enough evidence to expose the true reasons behind the mysterious blackouts.

“In The Blackout Club, the horror genre comes home,” said Jordan Thomas, Co-Founder, Question LLC. “Our story is about vulnerable heroes — for whom co-op gameplay is a matter of survival — who unite to save their friends. We love expressive systems, where you shape the game experience as you see fit, often versus a whole ecosystem of intelligent threats. And now, they’re right next door – in a familiar, modern town, where the monster wears a human face. We can’t wait for you to meet it.”

It all sounds rather spooky but the prospect of grabbing three other TiX members and going on a spooky sleuthing mission boggles my mind with the hilarious antics that we will undoubtedly get up to. It’s going to be a long wait for this one…

I've been gaming for longer than I care to remember and spent four years writing for another XCN website leading a 10 strong team. Now I'm in charge of TiX alongside Dave Moran – I hope you enjoy what we do!
