There seems to have been something of an influx of first person futuristic survival games recently. Blue Isle Studios, being something of an expert studio at survivalist horror, have now re-entered the fray. Valley is a first-person adventure unlike any other.

Using the power of the L.E.A.F (Leap Effortlessly through Air Functionality) suit, you can showcase your exceptional speed and agility in Valley, as well as the phenominal ability to manipulate the life and death of all living things.

The developer of Slender: The Arrival have taken some elements of the popular series to include in the new game, it would seem. Hidden deep within the Rocky Mountains, you find yourself bewilderedand alone within a secluded valley. Run and jump through beautiful forests, dangerous ruins and vast environments using the abilities of the L.E.A.F suit. Harness the power of life and death to uncover the startling secrets of this mysterious place.

These new abilities come with some startling repercussions though. The more you experience death around the valley, the more the valley will die around you.

The game will also give you the option to add to the suit’s abilities through upgrades.

CEO of Blue Isle Studios, Alex Tintor;

After the success of Slender: The Arrival, we wanted to do something completely unique that offered players an amazing amount of freedom, and Valley is just that. This is an incredibly exciting project for us – something totally new and distinct, that we expect will intrigue players.

Valley will be heading to Xbox One in the summer of 2016 and you can find out a little more about it here.

The announcement trailer below will give you an idea of the game and it’s themes.

A lifelong gamer, staring at the wrong side of the forties, I'm a huge Halo series fan. Started gaming way back in the days of the Amstrad CPC464. Midlander through birth, married with son, COD virgin, so be gentle.
