Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare First Patch In The Works

Xbox One

call of duty advanced warfare

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare launched this past week worldwide and developer Sledgehammer Games’ is “listening to the community” and has roughly detailed what the first patch will be fixing.

The vast majority of the changes that have been revealed on its official website revolve around general game polish and have also addressed the err… slightly dodgy connection the game has been experiencing this past week by stating the following:

Advanced Warfare employs game servers hosted at data centers globally on all platforms and listen servers as part of our proprietary matchmaking system. Our goal is to ensure the best possible connection and greatest gameplay experience regardless of location and time of day.”

The patch that is in the works and should be hitting the Xbox One platform soon contains a bunch of bug fixes, such as;

  • Prestige reset issues, including emblems and challenges.
  • Adjustment to the in-game chat names notifications placement.
  • Fix for weapon reloads counting as speed reloads in certain circumstances.
  • Connectivity optimizations.
  • Fix for stats accumulating towards leaderboards after prestiging.
  • Adjustment to challenges to unlock Camos for weapons.
  • Fix for round-based game modes, affecting Win/Loss ratios.
  • Implemented ability to unlock eSports Rule options in Private Match.

    Bought it yesterday & it wont even install! I havent been able to play Ghosts in over 6 months as it fails to load. Im a huge COD fan but im having a hard time remaining one on Xbox one.

  • the problem I had with it installing was that during disc installation it also wanted an online update. I had to unplug the router, delete the game off my HDD and then install just from disc first before going online again
