Call of Duty: ELITE – January DLC Out Now

DLC

Subscribers of the Call of Duty: ELITE service can now find DLC Drop 1 and 2 available for download on their consoles. The first two of twenty pieces of downloadable content features the Piazza and Liberation Maps which can be used in both Multiplayer and Spec Op’s Survival game modes.

To download the content, fire up your console and download the mandatory game update – head on over to Multiplayer and the ELITE Playlists should be visible. By entering this ELITE Playlist you will be prompted that items are available to download as you currently do not have the required Maps. Piazza and Liberation are individual downloads of 73mb and 100mb respectively.

Piazza: This seaside Italian getaway is anything but idyllic, as tight corners and branching pathways pose great risk at every turn. Close-range combat dominates, and the team that best utilizes flanking routes will most often come out on top. Attacks from behind, above and below are an ever-constant threat. Keep up your awareness and don’t get taken by surprise.

Liberation: A militarized Central Park stretches across a vast landscape, ripe for long-range sniper and LMG fire. Mounted turrets on either end lend power to anyone brave enough to expose themselves in exchange for deadly firepower. Plan out your movement and always be aware of nearby sightlines to avoid becoming fodder for the enemy.

This now kick starts the season of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 downloads that can be enjoyed monthly for ELITE Subscribers only. The next batch of content is due mid- February and both this month’s and next month’s DLC will be bundled together as a content pack to be released in March for non ELITE subscribers.
