This weekend saw Corentin “Vitality Rockyy” Chevrey crowned FIFA 17 UT champion. He took home the grand prize of $160,000 USD. In a dramatic last minute goal with only seconds left on the clock, French Xbox One champ Vitality Rockyy captured the trophy after trailing PlayStation 4 winner and Englishman Shaun “Shellzz” Springette in the cross console grand finale.

This past weekend at the inaugural FIFA 17 Ultimate Team Championship, elite FIFA players met in Berlin to put their skills to the test, with millions of spectators around the world tuning in. Over six million players have played FUT Champions since last autumn, qualifying for 192 spots in six regional finals and 32 berths in the Championship. The top eight competitors including Vitality Rockyy and Shellzz have also qualified for the FIFA Interactive World Cup.
