Halo 4 Multiplayer Requires 8GB HDD Space

Xbox 360

Microsoft has confirmed in a nifty little How-To Optimisation page on Xbox.com that the Halo 4 Multiplayer element of the game will require a whopping 8GB of HDD Space!

“At a minimum, you’ll need at least an 8GB USB Flash Drive or an Xbox 360 Hard Drive to play Multiplayer mode in Halo 4” it details, “For an optimal experience playing with an Xbox 360 Hard Drive is highly recommended.”

It is not yet known how much of that space will be taken up with DLC and Spartan Op’s Missions due to drop after launch combined with perhaps a required HDD Install – will Halo 4 be on two separate discs of Campaign and Multiplayer?

More details are expected to hit earth closer to launch – we’ll keep you posted, but for now – let’s drool over that E3 2012 trailer once more…
