Homefront: The Revolution gets a performance patch

News Xbox One

Dambuster Studios, creators of Homefront: The Revolution have released a patch to help improve the performance issues that plagued the game.

The ‘Performance Patch’ is said to provide a “smoother framerate and improved performance throughout the game”, overall performance should be improved overall by about 15%.

Other fixes include changes to enemy spawn points and the game should no longer freeze after saving the game.

in my review of the game, I said:

Homefront: The Revolution is game that has lots of great ideas, that end up in not quite reaching their potential. The performance issues need desperately sorting out. Its well worth playing through the Co-Op missions but apart from that I’d wait for this to drop in price before thinking about picking this up.

So hopefully the path will improve my opinion of the game!
