Linksys has created a gaming router that’s will help your connection when playing on the Xbox One

According to Linksys, the WRT32XB will automatically detect an Xbox that’s connected, and then prioritises and accelerates gaming traffic using something known as the “Killer Prioritization Engine” used in their previous router. In simple terms it should reduce lag spikes and cut down on peak ping times up to 65 percent for Xbox One users.

Other features include:

  • 802.11ac Wi-Fi
  • Four Ethernet ports
  • A USB 3.0 port
  • Four dual band antennas

The WRT32XB is set to be released in February for $299, though there is no mention of a UK release yet..
