Minecraft is going fully cross platform across Xbox One, Windows 10, Nintendo Switch and mobile platforms thanks to the Bedrock engine, which is an all-new platform for Minecraft, allowing Mojang and Microsoft to update all versions simultaneously whilst allowing cross-platform play.

You’ll be able to play via play Minecraft Realm, the subscription based service allowing players to maintain their very own dedicated sever.

Windows 10 users will be able to upgrade today via the ‘better together’ update, will select Xbox One users will be able to access the update via the Insider Hub (as well as having an invite).
