It’s around this time of the month that Microsoft like to announce the next batch of Backwards Compatible titles to be released, although that will be about to change for future announcements.

Microsoft’s very own Major Nelson has revealed the next ten games to become available via the backwards program. They are as follows:

  • Aegis Wing
  • Age of Booty
  • Counter-Strike: GO
  • Jeremy McGrath’s Offroad
  • Sam & Max Save the World
  • Skullgirls
  • Small Arms
  • Soul Calibur
  • Space Giraffe
  • The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings

Future Backwards Compatible announcements will no longer come in batches, Larry revealed, but will rather be added to the catalogue of reverse-engineered games as and when they are ready.

The eagle-eyed amongst you will have already noticed that The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings is available for free between now and the 5th of February, for both Xbox One and 360 owners.

All of the titles mentioned above should be available now. What’s taken your fancy on the Backwards Compatible list so far?
