Playr: Resident Evil 6 Most Wanted Game For 2012

According to site statistics released from Playr.com, Resident Evil 6 is the most searched for release of 2012 on-site; suggesting it to be this year’s most anticipated game amongst gaming fans.

Following a drastic rise of searches for games yet to be released in the UK, Playr revealed the ‘Most Anticipated Video Game Releases of 2012 by UK gamers; based on search statistics from their site – with November’s Resident Evil 6 topping the charts as the most searched in the last 3 months, closely followed by ‘Call of Duty Vita’ which is rumoured for release this Autumn.

Simon Kilby, Founder of Playr2.com, commented:

“…The Resident Evil franchise has long been popular amongst gamers, and with Resident Evil 5 having been released a good few years ago now, it seems that fans are keen for the next instalment to be released.”

“Some of the most anticipated releases aren’t due to make their way onto the shelves until December 2012, so we’ve got a while to wait yet… It’ll be interesting to see if COD will dominate the portable space like it has for platforms over recent years.”
