Sea of Thieves has had ongoing closed Alpha tests for months now, with more and more
pirates players being added each month. Now, in what may be the last play test before the game’s March 20 launch date, Sea of Thieves is to receive a closed beta session, which runs from 12pm GMT January 24 until 8am GMT January 29.
The beta test promises a bespoke experience for those willing to set sail but won’t be revealing all that the game has to offer. To be in with the crew you must have been enrolled onto the Insider programme before December 1, 2017 or have pre-ordered the game.
Unlike previous sessions, this beta will not be at the mercy of an NDA so expect twitch and Mixer to be full of swashbuckling streams.
