Action-RPG Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor – Martyr has been slated for a digital release on August 23, with the physical launching the very next day. A release date for North America and Latin America is yet be confirmed.
The latest game set in the Warhammer 40K universe has a “strong focus on a persistent online world” and it’s this core mechanic that has led the game’s release to be pushed back – which isn’t the first time the developer has requested the title be delayed. Let’s hope they can stick to the new August date.
Stop what you are doing. Sit down. Prepare yourself. V-RALLY IS BACK!
In case you couldn’t tell… I am a tad excited by the news that we will be getting another V-Rally – albeit that the dev behind the game isn’t the same as the original series – which debuted on the PlayStation back in 1997.
Bigben and Kylotonn are the ‘brains’ behind the announcement and I am certainly holding onto my fond memories of a franchise I lost many an hour to. Hopefully V-Rally 4 will be as memorable, it certainly sounds promising with over 50 cars to choose from including Porsche and Ford.
Alain Jarniou, Game Director at Kylotonn, declared, “It’s a real privilege for me to once again work on the V-Rally series. It’s an extraordinary title that I have a very special connection to. I had a chance to join the team that created V-Rally to develop V-Rally 3 on the PlayStation 2 as a programmer. I’m very proud to be working on the franchise again 15 years later.”

Bigben Studios and Games Workshop have today announced a collaboration for the development of a console and PC game based on the Warhammer Fantasy Battles IP. The game is planned to be the first Hack and Slash game set in the Warhammer world. It will take place in the Old World, a dark continent devastated by the wars against Chaos.
