There’s never been a better time to join the action and defeat the evil Dr. Wiley!

Mass Effect – One of the greatest single-player action RPGs of all-time, Mass Effect is a true classic that has aged extremely well. Choose from six different classes and level-up your character as you seek out and complete combat missions, resource gathering expeditions, and other side quests.

THQ Nordic announce Darksiders III

Today, THQ Nordic announced that hack-n-slash action adventure Darksiders III is currently in development and is slated for release in 2018 on Xbox One.

As promised, we have taken our time to ensure that this next Darksiders will be everything action-adventure gamers and especially Darksiders loyalists could dream of and more,

said Lars Wingefors, Co-Founder and Group CEO, THQ Nordic AB.

The company also announced that it is working with the team at Gunfire Games, which is largely comprised of the original creators of the Darksiders franchise, on development of the long and highly-anticipated project.

The Gunfire team brings an intimate involvement with every aspect of the Darksiders franchise since its inception,

said Reinhard Pollice, Director of Business and Product Development, THQ Nordic.

There is simply no team better qualified to create Darksiders III, beginning with our unpredictable and enigmatic hero FURY – a mage who is considered the most powerful of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse!

Darksiders 2 Deathinitive Edition heading to Xbox One

Nordic Games have finally announced that the rumoured Darksiders 2 Deathinitive Edition will come to Xbox One at the end of the year. Not only is the remaster loaded with all previously released DLC and running with a new lick of HD paint, but it’s also had the some loot and balancing tweaks made to make this the ultimate ‘Deathinitive’ edition.

We took over the franchise roughly 2 years ago and thought about the next chapter for Darksiders ever since then. Naturally (and extremely excitedly!), there will be a large-scale project based on Darksiders, but for now it is very important for us to take care of the existing games and make those available to a broader audience. Bringing Darksiders 2 to current gen was a logical step for us and the team at Gunfire Games know their trade inside-out, so we easily and quickly had lots of ideas that we wanted to realise for this specific edition.

Said Reinhard Pollice, Business & Product Development Director at Nordic Games – note the comment about a future ‘large-scale’ project!
