This isn’t a mistake, not a glitch and a surprising fact to learn that EA has now opened up older games on the Xbox 360 to have their online passes made available for free. If your mouth has just dropped that EA has given something away for free – welcome to the club.
We had previously reported that EA intended to drop the Online Pass, and we came to the assumption that some form of DRM “must” be in place for next-gen rendering the passes on a new console – useless! We was indeed right to assume that, but EA stated prior that future games would not be shipped with Online Passes, we had no idea about past games.
EA Games with Online Passes include Mass Effect 2, Battlefield: Bad Company 2, Alice: Madness Returns, Bulletstorm, Shift 2: Unleashed, Medal of Honor, Dragon Age 2 & many more. This now means that used games can play online without forking out extra cash.

For the first time in Call of Duty history – and there’s a lot of history!, Activision will offer micro-transaction items that can be purchased from the Xbox LIVE Marketplace to offer you more options in styling your weapons and load-out.
Activision’s Dan Amrich has described the priced content as…
either personal customization’s or nice little luxuries, none of which affect gameplay and are simply small, specific ways to enhance your online experience. If that’s not you, that’s fine; everybody gets Nuketown 2025 for free, so definitely take advantage of that.
There will be a range of Personalisation Packs that contain weapon camo’s, calling cards and reticles for 160 MS Points, Extra Slots Pack to bump an extra ten Creat-a-Class slots and media storage space, Flags of the World Calling Cards for 80 MS Points each and the option to purchase the Nuketown 2025 Zombie Map for 400 MS Points.
The good news is if you don’t want to purchase anything at all the Nuketown 2025 Multiplayer Map will be free for everyone – if you’re yet to meet a player without it, spread the news…
