There’s a whole host of announcements coming out of the GDC in San Francisco at the minute, and Aritana and the Harpy’s Feather on the ID@Xbox program is another in a very long line. Expect a lot of these today as over or around 30 titles have been revealed on the indie front.
Aritana and the Harpy’s Feather is developed by Brazilian studio, Duaik and centres around the story of a deep forest tribe whose chief is gravely ill. An ancient ritual can rid him of the powerful forest spirit that has possessed him, but it is missing a key ingredient. The feather of a rare Harpy named Uiruuete.
Aritana embarks on a dangerous mission to grab one of these feathers, which can only be found at the top of the highest mountain, through the lands of the man-eating Mapinguari.
Guide Aritana to his destiny in this lovely-looking platformer by changing your stance. This allows you to take advantage of jump force, speed and special attacks against those that dare to stand in your way.
