Announced during gamescom, Turtle Beach have unveiled their newest addition to the Stealth line up – the Stealth 420X+.
Retailing at $149.95/£149.95, the Turtle Beach Stealth 420X+’s rechargeable battery lasts for around 15 hours and is fully wireless – that’s game and chat audio. The over-ear headset design has been ‘updated’ and comes loaded with a host of audio settings including their trademark Superhuman Hearing. Mic Monitoring is included – something I really missed in other headset brands. As with their other models, the mic is removable so you can use the headset on the go with your favourite audio device.

Earlier today at Gamescom, Konami announced a surprise new addition to the Metal Gear franchise, Metal Gear Survive, revealed exclusively by IGN.
Metal Gear Survive will be a four-player stealth co-op game set within the Metal Gear universe, and is due for release on Xbox One in 2017.
Metal Gear Survive is set directly after the events of Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes. Mother Base has been destroyed and strange portals open up in the sky dragging the survivors to an alternate universe where they’re forced to battle a force of crystalline zombies.
Metal Gear Survive will offer a fresh take on the series’ famed stealth elements,
said Konami European president, Tomotada Tashiro in a press release,
but within a unique co-op setting that is designed for a truly engrossing multiplayer experience.
Metal Gear Survive will be the first full Metal Gear game made after the departure of series creator Hideo Kojima, so it’ll be interesting to see how the series develops from here. The focus on a four-player co-op experience is certainly a new avenue for the series, but whether fans are willing to except these big changes is yet to be seen. We’ll find out next year.
Today at Gamescom Ubisoft have announced the next expansion to their successful driving MMO The Crew, titled Calling All Units. As the title suggests Calling All Units puts players in the role of police officers tasked with shutting down the street racers and bringing them to justice.
The Calling All Units expansion will bring with it a new 12 mission storyline where players will be able to develop tactics, collect new vehicles as well as the normal new cars parts and XP. With Supercars, SUV’s and motorbikes all decked out in police livery high speed pursuits can happen anytime, anywhere, and with players able to access both the police and the racers it’s going to be frantic. However it won’t be as easy as you think as the racers will be equipped with flashbangs, unlimited nitro, and other abilities to help them evade capture but the police will also have a few surprises up their sleeves.
The Crew Calling All Units is set for release on November 29 on Xbox One and PC. However if you’re new to the game and looking to dive into the full experience The Crew Ultimate Edition will be released on the same day and this pack will include, The Crew Wild Run expansion, the Calling All Units expansion, and the Season Pass vehicles with their customization options.
If you are still not convinced then why don’t you try the free trial currently available to download for the PC and Xbox One which includes the core game and also The Wild Run expansion? This trial can be downloaded at the Xbox Store of from The Crew Official Website.
