The latest Grand Theft Auto 5 update is hiding something exciting, it’s the return of the legendary custom shop, Benny’s Original Motor works.
Pay him a visit in Strawberry just south of the Olympic Freeway and he will be able to customize your cars as well as work on the new Lowriders, offering custom paint jobs colours and designs. He also has interiors with a variety of patterns and types, engine mods and air filters, rims & wheels, new steering wheels and custom shift levers. Pimp out with massive sound systems with subs in the back, and of course no Lowrider would be complete in its own state of Los Santos without hydraulics.
The Lowriders free DLC is out today and offers more than just cars. New clothing, hair and tattoos are available along with a personal vehicle remote, freemode weapon pickups, extra weapons on the creator, quick ammo restocks and more besides.
Do not forget to take a look at Lamar’s grand plans to take on the gangs of Los Santos and conquer the city’s thriving Lowrider scene.
Exploring in Open World Games is usually the reason for picking it up in the first place, however the genre really seems to be struggling when it comes to creating an involving and meaningful story, regardless of writing talent.
In this video, I’m going to try and analyse why that is and suggest possible room for improvement.
Exclusive to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC versions of Grand Theft Auto V, this new mode gives players the chance to explore the world of Los Santos and Blaine County directly through the eyes of their character, revealing all the world’s glorious details in an entirely new way.
Available in both GTAV and GTA Online, Rockstar have made a host of changes to accommodate this new perspective, including the creation of an optional first person cover system, a new targeting system, a more traditional FPS control scheme, and integrating thousands of new animations into the existing game. It’s also available at the touch of a button so you can easily switch back and forth between perspectives.
Alongside the new First Person mode, Grand Theft Auto V for Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC features hundreds of additions and enhancements including 1080p resolution at 30FPS on PS4 and Xbox One (4K compatible on PC).
Grand Theft Auto V will be available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on November 18th. Coming January 27th to PC.
Rockstar has released yet another batch of free, downloadable content for Grand Theft Auto 5 titled “The Last Stand” and it’s unfortunately not as impressive as it sounds.
This new expansion pack is now available to download and contains two new weapons, two new motorbikes and one fancy new sports car, as well as expanding the map creation tool. The in-game editor now lets players create Last Team Standing game modes, create custom maps and share them with the community.
The 1.17 update has also added several new Rockstar Verified Jobs which are listed below, more details can be found on the official site.
Alta(Rank 16, 2-8 Players)
Less violent than the average apartment building residents’ committee meeting, this cramped LTS pits two wings of a building against each other. Try to stay on the rooftops, and look for long-ranged attacks across the courtyard and close-quarters clashes on the footbridge.
Del Perro Freeway(Rank 23, 2-16 Players)
Draw a line in the sand with this Del Perro Beach LTS. Teams start at either end of the beachfront houses. They can go at each other directly or take the pedestrian bridges across the WH to pick up weapons. Dr. Friedlander isn’t running his conflict resolution seminar this week.
Grand Banks(Rank 9, 3-12 Players)
As good a place as any to make a stand, three groups take the third way at the Grand Banks Steel foundry. Fight on the rooftops, in the tunnels, and along the gangways to be the only team that doesn’t get to fulfil their death wish.
Hawick(Rank 16, 2-16 Players)
Two teams snipe each other from rooftops or get down and dirty in the alleys with shotguns until there’s only one of them left. Hawick hasn’t seen this many unfortunate accidents since speedballs were cool in the 80s.
Mount Josiah(Rank 29, 2-16 players)
When the dust settles, and the rivers stop running with blood, who’ll be left on top of the second highest mountain in Southern San Andreas? Two teams fight to be king of the hill on the open, almost coverless slopes of Mount Josiah.
N.O.O.S.E.(Rank 9, 2-8 Players)
Something’s happening behind the mysterious chain link fences, and non-descript ‘government facility’ signs off the Palomino Freeway. Two teams have taken time off from spying on personal communications to fight for supremacy on the rooftops, walkways, and parking lots of the N.O.O.S.E. facility. Look up for the best weapons.
Paleto Bay – Tanks(Rank 29, 2-16 Players)
Some places get all the luck. Two teams face off with tanks and explosives and don’t mind if they turn the whole town to rubble. Who’ll be left standing in what’s left of Paleto Bay?
Skyscraper(Rank 36, 2-16 Players)
There’s no escape from Los Santos. One team tries to hold out at the top of a skyscraper construction site armed only with sniper rifles and heavy weapons. The other team launches a four pronged assault in Buzzard attack helicopters.
Storm Drain(Rank 23, 2-16 Players)
Gang warfare’s gotten really out of hand as two teams come at each other with tanks, motorbikes, and explosives in the concrete channel of the LS River. Try to stay in the storm drain, and don’t worry about flash flooding, there’s a drought in San Andreas after all.
Tataviam Truckstop(Rank 16, 2-8 Players)
Lonely truckers and enterprising hitchhikers are in for a scare as this pit stop on the Palomino sees its share of the action. Small scale LTS that’ll make good use of the Heavy Shotgun.

Saturn, an electronics department store chain in Germany use an actor to portray some kind of media geek to advertise many of the store’s products. Their character known as, TECH-NICK is used across a range of in-store advertising promotions and online media who also tweets on behalf of the company. Through the “Verified” promotional twitter account of Saturn Germany, TECH-NICK stated:
Da ich grad gefragt wurde: Das Release von #GTAV für PC, XBOX One und PS4 wird für Juni erwartet…
As english translation would have it “Since I was asked: The release of #GTAV for PC, XBOX One and PS4 is expected in June…” The account later tweeted that this was a rumour and the industry is well aware of nothing, but he’ll keep his followers updated.
Rumours of Grand Theft Auto V for Xbox One being released in June have now been circulating across a range of EU retailers including, Czech Republic’s SUPERGAMER, and Romania’s ALTEX. It is unlikely that developer’s Rockstar Games will announce anything officially until E3 2014 this June.
Grand Theft Auto V, was always destined to be a huge success and with it deservingly selling more copies than the latest Call of Duty on the Xbox 360 it was one of the best games of 2013! With some gamer’s having to sell their Xbox 360’s to fund an all important Xbox One purchase, it left those fellow gamers (and myself) distraught and inconsolable that we never got round to finishing the game. This is why We need Grand Theft Auto V to release on Xbox One alongside PC; to be able to sleep at night knowing that all characters stories have ended well…it is the only hope we have left if Rockstar Games can just make this happen!
…but for now, in our plight as we wait for the possible rumoured GTA V on Xbox One announcement – check out some funny Grand Theft Auto related Youtube videos you might never have seen if not for us posting today! Thank me later…
Grand Theft Cornwall – this comes in top of the must-see list, anyone for a Mr Whippy?
What Does The Cop Say? – yes it’s that annoying song only without the Fox – Pew Pew Pew!
Grand Theft Auto V – Funny moments and ultimate fails!
Bitch It’s Grand Theft Auto – this will easily get stuck in your head
Cock and Balls in GTA V – guy gives the low down on some dead dudes cock in GTA!
Long rumoured, not exactly confirmed in any official capacity, but an online retailer (well known in its locale) has started taking orders for Grand Theft Auto V on next gen platforms. This being Xbox One and PS4 with an image of the supposed box art as shown above.
GTA V for Xbox One is priced at around 1629 Czech Republic Karuna on SuperGamer which equals around £50.00 in GBP for UK gamers. A screengrab of the site in detail is shown below:
Grand Theft Auto V for Xbox One, PS4 and PC are all likely to resemble each other very closely and feature more explicitly intricate detailing visually than what you see on Xbox 360 and PS3. It would be a great move to release such a massive title as this on our next-gen systems, so should anything get confirmed from Rockstar Games in the coming weeks, we’ll keep you posted.
