GTA Online: Bikers update now available

GTA V is the game that keeps on giving, and Rockstar have just given us another update to GTA Online, with the new Bikers update.

Introducing a host of new features including Motorcycle Clubs, Clubhouses, running businesses, 13 new vehicles, and much much more, the free update promises to inject an element of badassery into GTA Online.

Along with all the new toys, a brand new race mode has also been introduced. Slipstream pits teams of riders against each other, as they vie to be the first over the finish line. As teams fight for the lead, they need to stick together to hit checkpoints, and take full advantage of their opponent’s slipstreams to gain additional speed boosts. To add an element of Road Rage, melee attacks are now available to knock other players off of their bikes, so you can gain that important lead.

To commemorate the release of GTA Online: Bikers, there is a special Bikers Bonus Week which will run until October 10, with unlockable rewards and discounts. Play this week to unlock special clothing items, and get a discount on body armour, ammo, and weapon tints.

GTA Online: Bikers is now available to anyone who owns GTA V, and all new content will be added with a quick game update on your Xbox One.

Cunning Stunts comes to GTA

Ever thought GTA Online racing was a little boring, well not anymore. With the introduction of the latest update Cunning Stunts, racing has been taken to all new epic heights, literally, in a series of 16 brand-new Stunt Races. Take to the winding tubular tracks amongst Los Santos’ tallest skyscrapers, or challenging technical courses across deserts, over water and through canyons. Cunning Stunts has it all, ramps, loops, wall rides, raised tracks and tubes for a completely new approach to GTA Online racing.

In this latest update you will get your hands on the following,

  • Stunt Races – Race across unique locations in San Andreas, featuring harrowing heights, incredible speeds and a dazzling spectacle of fireworks, lights, sounds and stomach-churning twists and turns.
  • Premium Races – Compete for winner-take-all glory, placing bets and putting faith in your skills for a chance at bigger prize payouts. For a list of this week’s Premium Races, visit the Rockstar Newswire.
  • New Vehicles and Clothing – If you’re going to do crazy things then you’re going to need a few crazy vehicles and Rockstar have you covered with 13 new vehicles. From the RE-7B to the utter brutality of Vapid’s Trophy Truck this update has you covered. Hey – it can’t be all about the cars though, players now have the choice of a new range of cutting edge racing styled fashion, 50 new tattoos and more.

Along with the above further Stunt Races and vehicles will be added to the game over the next three weeks, culminating in the release of the Stunt Race Creator on August 2nd. The Stunt Race Creator will allow you and the GTA community to go mad and design the stunt track of your dreams, whether this includes a sheer vertical drop, a never ending corkscrew or banked turn over one of the tallest buildings in the game, the choice will be yours.

GTA Online Cunning Stunts is available now so buckle up and prepare to experience Southern San Andreas from a whole new perspective.

Personally I’m hoping that GTA V’s heists mode starts working properly, I can dream right?

GTA Online heists now available

The day has finally arrived. The online heists update for Grand Theft Auto has begun to roll out across Xbox Live. The patch is 4.2 gb. Some users are getting the patch already while others are having to wait.

In the meantime, head over to the Rockstar site and check out the helpful pointers they have laid out to ensure that you on your buddies earn the biggest windfall possible.

Date set for GTA: Online Heists

After what seems an eternity of speculation, rumors, delays and teasers, Rockstar officially announced today that Heists will be coming to consoles on March 10th.

In the official announcement on Rockstar’s newswire it stated;

“We are excited to announce that the launch of Heists for GTA Online is scheduled for March 10th. We know it’s been a wait, and appreciate your patience. Heists will bring a brand new 4-player cooperative gameplay experience to GTA Online, giving players the chance to team up to pull off a string of intense, multi-part raids and robberies across Los Santos and Blaine County. Over the next couple of weeks, we will have more information about the launch of Heists and about other new features that we will release with it.”

So great news for us but not so great for PC players who once again suffer delays and wont be able to get their hands on the game until mid April.

In the meantime he is a quick reminder of what to expect.

Let’s go on a (GTA) Heist

GTA Heists

Ah the GTA Heist, one of my favourite pastimes from the single player campaign of GTAV – why then was it absent from GTA Online? Well the good news is that it won’t be absent for much longer. Heists are coming in “early 2015′ and will allow you and three mates to plan, prepare and rob the rich folk of Los Santos and Blaine County.

GTA V – Money Glitcher’s Getting Banned

Although I have long left the days of Xbox 360 and GTA V behind until I will get my ass in gear and devote a decent playthrough on the upcoming Xbox One version – it has been reported that Rockstar Games are cracking down on money launderers in-game, otherwise known as those who have found exploits to cheat a few million dollars!

According to LatinTimes, several prominent GTA 5 YouTubers over the weekend have faced bans by showing various methods to obtain unlimited money in videos. As YouTube videos are often the viral source for money leaks and cheats, Rockstar Games has allegedly banned well-known GTA 5 YouTubers: LispyJimmy, Dynasty, Sernando, Sir Weed, and Glitch Master, for sharing the exploits.

Another popular Youtuber, DomisLive claims that Rockstar Games have undercover agents moderating the lobbies to catch cheaters in the act, but are not only banning IP addresses – your Xbox Live Account too!

Cheating and exploiting on Xbox Live is against the Xbox Code of Conduct and Terms of Use. If you have recently been looting your GTA wallet with mass amounts of cash… play safe and don’t be alarmed if you suddenly become unable to connect to Xbox LIVE!
