Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment have today revealed the latest Story Trailer for the up and coming game Injustice 2. Titled The Lines are Redrawn, the trailer continues the story set in motion in Injustice: Gods Among Us, as new DC characters join the fight and shape the actions that unfold in the upcoming sequel.
Injustice 2 is NetherRealm Studios’ sequel to its hit game Injustice: Gods Among Us that allows players to build and power up the ultimate version of their favourite DC characters. Featuring a massive selection of DC Super Heroes and Super-Villains, Injustice 2 continues the story from the previous game as Batman and his allies work towards putting the pieces of society back together while struggling against those who want to restore Superman’s regime. In the midst of all this chaos though a new threat appears that will put Earth’s existence at risk.

So we’re not ones for spreading rumours or gossip…well not between the hours of 11pm and 5am, but we couldn’t but notice the image in the post that Ed Boon, Director of Injustice has put on twitter feed.
Now this image from his twitter feed suggests that we are looking at an Injustice 2 release date of the 16th May 2017.
Injustice 2 is the sequel to Injustice: Gods Among Us, which released in 2013. Releasing for the Xbox One it will feature a whole host of DC characters from the original game as well as some new ones including Supergirl.

So back to business and the latest announcement reveals Suicide Squad members Harley Quinn and Deadshot squaring off against one another. Harley Quinn returns with her signature attitude and some new tricks up her sleeve, while expert marksman Deadshot arrives for his console debut in the series.
