Plants vs. Zombies Pinball brings the battle to the Xbox One

Zen Studios and PopCap games have announced that their Pinball FX2 and Plants vs. Zombies collaboration is now available for the Xbox One.

This Xbox 360 fan favourite brings the eternal struggle between the undead masses, and the floral forces to the Xbox One, bringing the zombie invasion to the pinball table.

It is now available to download for the Xbox One for £2.49/$2.99/€2,99.

If you have previously downloaded the table on the Xbox 360, you will be able to download it for the Xbox One, for free.

Games With Gold – July 15

July’s Games with Gold finally sees Pool Nation moved aside, “hurrah!” I hear you cry.

This month, Xbox Live gold members will be able to get their hands on Assasins Creed Black Flag and So Many Me on the Xbox One.

Xbox 360 users will have access to Plants vs. Zombies and Gears of War 3.

To celebrate GWG’s two year anniversary Microsoft have announced that we’ll be getting two Xbox One games every month from now on.

Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare DLC Out Now

That’s right, there’s more. The critically-acclaimed shooter Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare brings even more bizarre fun with the new 8v8 “Gnome Bomb” gameplay mode, the option to customize your load out with 24 new ability upgrades and an all-new map, Chomp Town in the downloadable Garden Variety Pack (DLC) available for free starting March 18 on Xbox One and Xbox 360. Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare launched in February with a 90 from Gaming Trend raving, “Garden Warfare is entertaining, accessible, and oozing with charm,” and IGN saying “[Garden Warfare] sets itself apart from other multiplayer third-person shooters.

The Garden Variety Pack features 24 new ability upgrades, three for each class including Sunflower’s Solar Flare Beam, Chomper’s Super Goop which cements zombies in place and the All-Star Zombie’s Ultra Tackle. These upgrades give players even more load out options for battle in the fun-dead field. The Garden Variety Pack also introduces the explosive Gnome Bomb mode that challenges plants and zombies to work together to destroy each other’s reinforced garden or graveyard. Players can explore a new funtastic map, and encounter a band of fresh Pirate Zombies, such as the Map Pirate Zombie who shields himself with a treasure map, in Sharkbite Shores and Port Scallywag.

Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare Now Due February 25

Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare is coming to Xbox One on February 25th in North America and starting February 27th in Europe. Described as a 3rd person shooter like no other. It is the only game where you shoot peas from your face, invade the skies as a garlic drone and… get to play as a zombie with a dolphin gun!

A brand new gameplay developer diary has recently launched that showcases four-player co-op gameplay mode Garden Ops where the Yeti and Giga-Gargantuar bosses make their debut in Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare! In Garden Ops, you play in squads of four working together to defend a garden base until Crazy Dave arrives to extract our heroes. Successfully defend the garden through the 11 zombie waves and earn huge rewards – characters are outfitted with special abilities, new gameplay mechanics and cool costumes.

Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare features three distinct modes – two 12v12 competitive multiplayer modes called Garden & Graveyards and Team Vanquish, and the four-player co-operative mode Garden Ops. In Garden & Graveyards, plants must defend their garden bases from zombies attempting to turn them into spooky graveyards. Players can also square off in Team Vanquish as they try to send the other team to the compost pile.

Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare Dated

PopCap Games and EA have recently announced that Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare will be shipping for Xbox One and Xbox 360 on February 18th 2014 in North America and February 21st in the UK. It’s set to be an action-packed third-person multiplayer shooter that puts players in the shoes—or roots—of their favorite characters from the popular Plants vs. Zombies franchise.

Powered by the Frostbite 3 engine, Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare features stunning, three-dimensional worlds, blooming with vibrant colors and unique landscapes. The game has more than 10 maps and three distinct modes including two 12v12 competitive multiplayer modes called Garden & Graveyards and Team Vanquish, and a four-player co-operative mode called Garden Ops. In Garden & Graveyards, plants must defend their garden bases from zombies attempting to turn them into spooky graveyards. Players can also square off in Team Vanquish as they try to send the other team to the compost pile. For gamers that just want to have a fun time with their friends, they can work together in Garden Ops battling off waves of zombies on the attack.

On Xbox One, Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare includes two extra modes including local cooperative split screen and Boss Mode. With split screen, players can team up with a friend on the couch to fight against an endless horde of zombies. In Boss Mode, gamers can utilize their Kinect or a SmartGlass device in any of the other gameplay modes to support their teams. Players have a top-down view of the battlefield and can help out their teammates with intel, health drops, revive stations and explosive artillery strikes.

Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare is available for pre-order at major retailers nationwide at around £34.99 for Xbox One and £24.99 for Xbox 360.
