This week the Xbox One is going to get its groove on when Beatbuddy arrives on the Games Store. The German developer THREAKS are behind the decks of this intriguing adventure game that initially saw a release on iOS and Steam, selling over 700,00 copies and receiving numerous awards.
The action-adventure handpainted world of Beatbuddy features six worlds, a mix of puzzles and has been developed alongside famous musicians including Grammy Nominee Austin Wintory (Journey, The Banner Saga), Parov Stelar, Sabrepulse, The La Rochelle band and many more. If that doesn’t excite you then maybe the fact that Rhianna Pratchett has had a hand in the story will?
Beatbuddy was always meant to be played on consoles. Through the Xbox ID program we finally had the chance to make our dream come true. The hand-drawn graphics and animations never looked as stunning and fluent as on Xbox One.

Post-launch DLC is also promised, which will bring new songs that will offer new ways to play through the game’s levels.
