Batman Arkham Knight goes back in time

The newst part of Batman Arkham Knight DLC brings you the 1989 Movie Batmobile Pack, free for season pass holders and £1.59 each otherwise. Drive the Batmobile from the 1989 film ‘Batman’ and wear the original Batman skin from the film. Two race tracks are part of this pack which were inspired from Batman Returns. Take the 1989 Batmobile for a spin today!

Warner Bros have announced Four DLC packs the are planned to be landing in September;

  • First up will be ‘Crime Fighter Challenge Pack #1’  will land September 1st, which will come with six AR challenges for Batman, Nightwing, Robin and Catwoman.
  • ‘GCPD Lockdown Story Pack’ Set after the events of Arkham Knight, players will take on the role of Nightwing as he tries to prevent Penguin from breaking out of the Gotham City Police Department
  • The Dark Knight 2008 Tumbler Batmobile will join your vehicle collection as well as two more race tracks.
  • The Original Arkham Batman Skin will be released, relive past victories in the Arkham Asylum Batman skin

Microsoft Potentially Reveals Arkham Knight Release Date

Just before E3, Rocksteady confirmed the sad news that the third and final chapter in their Batman Trilogy ‘Arkham Knight’ was to be delayed till 2015. Reports in the last week suggested a possible January release for the game.

But over the weekend, Microsoft’s Xbox Store was showing a listing for Arkham Knight with a February 24th release date for the game on the Xbox One.

It is not uncommon for online stores to use ‘Placeholders’ to list items before they are released, but normally it is the pricing that gets the most attention. Nothing has been confirmed by Rocksteady so far, but if it is legit, it is a good indication of how 2015 will start off with a bang!

The addition of this legendary vehicle, combined with the acclaimed gameplay of the Batman Arkham series, offers gamers the ultimate and complete Batman experience as they tear through the streets and soar across the skyline of the entirety of Gotham City.
