As we told you not a few days ago, The Walking Dead: Michonne Episode 1 is coming to both Xbox 360 and Xbox One. The good news is that the first episode in this three episode mini-series, In Too Deep, is out now.

The second episode, Give No Shelter will hit the console in March and the third episode, What We Deserve will launch in April. Skybound Entertainment and developer Telltale Games announced that you should be able to purchase all three episodes for the bargain price of $14.99 or your local currency equivalent, assuming that the Xbox Store’s current issues have been resolved of course.

Kevin Bruner, Co-Founder and CEO of Telltale Games Inc.;

Michonne has long been a favourite character of ours and the world over, standing among the most complex and tormented perspectives in Robert Kirkman’s universe. Allowing players to step into the role of Michonne for the first time makes for a uniquely compelling Telltale experience in The Walking Dead series that will never clearly offer right or wrong answers on the path to survival or redemption.

In this opening episode, Michonne joins Pete and his crew on the sailing ship, The Companion, as they cruise the coast for survivors and supplies. When a desperate signal for help draws them to a scene of horrific massacre, Michonne and the crew are led further to the floating survivors’ colony of Monroe, which may just be harboring the person responsible for the carnage.

The Walking Dead: Michonne Episode 1 is out now.

The Walking Dead are set to become Escapists

Hands up, who loves a bit of The Walking Dead? OK, who loves The Escapists and I’m looking at you, Rich.

Well, Team 17 have teamed up with Skybound Entertainment, featuring those folk from The Walking Dead, to create The Escapists: The Walking Dead.

Play as Rick Grimes, in The Escapists’ own 8-bit graphical style as he strives to lead his band of the living, surviving against a horde of undead. The storyline follows many of the original comic book cast. He must secure a safe route out of each area and complete tasks to secure the safety of as many of the group as possible.

The game will also follow the timeline of the comic books, so the locations will mirror the comics too.

The Escapists: The Walking Dead is due out late this summer on Xbox One. Do we have a zombie-filled trailer? You can bet your torn, blood-stained jeans we do.
