The Evil Within 2 is due for release in only a matter of weeks on Friday 13th October (Spooky!) and Bethesda have released a new game trailer entitled “Race Against Time”.
As Sebastian Castellanos, you will face unimaginable terrors as you fight to find your daughter within the nightmare of STEM and get her out safely before the entire system crumbles around you. On top of the hideous creatures that roam the streets, you’ll also have to contend with the likes of Stefano and Theodore – twisted individuals who have made their horrific homes inside of STEM and are warping the weakened world to suit their wills. Should the world be completely destroyed, there won’t be any escape for Sebastian or Lily.
Clearly a game suited to the most strong-hearted of players, The Evil Within 2 is developed by Tango Gameworks and published by Bethesda.
The Evil Within will receive its first piece of DLC in March. Titled The Assignment, the DLC looks a bit darker in tone if this short teaser is a reflection on the gameplay – The Evil Within started well but couldn’t hold its tense horror drama and slipped into ‘something made of arcade’ rather than of nightmares.
Bethesda have taken to their blog to announce that will be a 1GB patch rolling out for the Xbox One sometime this evening, with a PC version to follow shortly. While no specifics are mentioned, the patch is listed as fixing “minor bug fixes and optimizations”.
We shall keep you updated should the patch notes become available!
