Mass Effect 3 has received some of the largest multi player DLC for a traditionally single player experience that has been seen for a long time, an indication of how multiplayer is becoming a bigger facet of games thanks to the arrival of Call of Duty our radars. However there does seem to be light at the end of the tunnel as later this summer, Bioware are delivering some nice, and hopefully, juicy single player, story driven game play with Mass Effect 3:Leviathan
Leviathan seems to be the only thing that has the capacity to kill a Reaper on it is own and could prove an amazing advantage for Shepard and the fight for Earth, that is, if the Reapers dont get there first to destroy it. Gamers have been promised new characters and planets to explore, further exposition on the history of the Reapers, as well as further parts of the Citadel to roam around as you continue to find and pull resources to bring the fight to the enemy. Interestingly, the DLC does not happen after the game but during it, not unsurprisingl considering the general finality of almost all the endings of Mass Effect 3, meaning that there is a possibility that the Extended Cut endings could change again to reflect how you do in this adventure. The best hope fans have is a replication of the fantastic Lair of the Shadow Broker for Mass Effect 2, that combined emotion, drama and one heck of a set piece that made it almost essential to buy.
Mass Effect 3: Leviathan is due out late this summer.
THIS COMPETITION HAS NOW BEEN CLOSED – WINNERS ARE BEING PICKED AT RANDOM AND WINNING GAMERTAGS WILL BE DISPLAYED BELOW

Vampires and vampire hunters; a generation of kids born in the 90’s will likely associate these two things with a one Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Fans of Rocksteady’s Batman games have been waiting for story DLC for a long time now, the addition of Nightwing and Robin in challenge maps outside of the main story were welcome if not necessarily desired additions. Harley Quinns Revenge is original, well written and enjoyable for all of the 45 minutes it will take you to finish it which , ultimately is a real shame.
With Max Payne 3 now released, and boasting very impressive sales figures, it would seem the gaming public has lapped up Max Payne’s.. pain and thrown themselves full throttle into the bullet time mechanic that was essentially made popular by the arrival of the Matrix films and the first in the Max Payne series.
