Warhammer 40,000 : Inquisitor – Martyr announced

w40K_LOGO_1920x1080

You may not have heard of NeoCoreGames, but they have a pedigree when it comes to the RPG Genre. Primarily focusing on PC Games, their recent partnership with Games Workshop has allowed them to spread their wings and flex their developer muscle that little bit more, and the result of this is the forthcoming Warhammer 40k: Inquisitor – Martyr.

True to their back catalogue, this will be an action RPG set in the visceral and popular world of Games Workshop’s 40k universe and will see the players step into the grim and secret war among the stars, as agents of the ever-vigilant Inquisition.

Once you have finished the main campaign, the game continues in a sandbox style set in the same sector of this ever expanding universe. After the end of the campaign the story continues in a colossal sandboxed game set in the same secluded sector of this vast universe.

NeoCoreGames have promised gradual development and a continuous flow of content to their Action-RPG gameplay.

“There’s a reason why we chose the world of Warhammer 40,000: it’s intense, brutal, visceral – a perfect material for an Action RPG. Working with Games Workshop, we’re doing our best to bring a high quality game to the community. We’re huge fans as well, so we care deeply about this game.”

Zoltán ‘Pozs’ Pozsonyi, Producer, NeocoreGames

A Warhammer 40,000 action RPG has been notably absent from our portfolio of video game licenses so far and its great to finally be able to talk publicly about this wonderful game that the guys at Neocore have been working so hard on for some time now. Their previous action RPG’s are very impressive and we feel privileged to be partnering with them on this game.

Activision have confirmed that this November, we can explore the colourful world as seen by Snoopy in the tie-in game for the upcoming Peanuts movie.

Snoopy’s Grand Adventure is a side-scrolling exploration platformer game starring the characters from the classic comic strip and is rumoured to contain the same endearing charm of its source material.

In The Peanuts Movie: Snoopy’s Grand Adventure, Snoopy explores the fantastical worlds of his imagination to track down Charlie Brown and his friends in an intricate game of hide-and-seek. As he follows their trails, Snoopy will acquire new costumes (based on his many alter egos) that provide unique abilities for overcoming obstacles and reaching new levels, including flight stages that let him take off as the Flying Ace. The game also includes voice talent from the film.

Built for kids of all ages, and with the ability to have a second player can join the adventure as Woodstock, aiding Snoopy by distracting creatures, opening new paths and helping locate hidden collectibles.

The Peanuts Movie: Snoopy’s Grand Adventure is launching on 6th November on the multiple platforms.

On the back of requests for console footage we recieved earlier today an email message from our friends at Evolve PR letting us know there is some brand new footage of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt running on Xbox One using dynamic scaling from 900p to 1080p. The introduction reads as:

We’ve been working to give gamers an even better experience on Xbox One and, on day 1, we’ll bring you dynamic scaling from 900p to 1080p. Arkham Knight trailer shows off returning characters and more

Batman-Arkham-Knight-e3-6

Earlier today the trailer below leaked ahead of its release, it seems to be the in thing at the moment, Warner Brothers have now officially lifted the lid on the “All who follow you” trailer and it looks awesome!

If you’re trying to keep a closed lid on everything Dark Knight, then you may want to avoid this trailer, as it shows of a load of characters and some really neat new stuff.

Right, so there’s the spoiler alert klaxon sounded… now on to the awesome stuff. The trailer shows off some great new features, like co-op take downs, something that Rocksteady said wouldn’t happen. It does however look like they’ve taken on board feedback from community forums and made it to be an AI controlled co-operative skull mashing rather than the standard local/online co-op that we all know and love.

There are also returning characters such as Catwoman, Robin and Nightwing who played parts in the previous Arkham games. You may also spot Azrael lighting up Gotham’s skyline with rooftop fires.

The trailer still leaves a lot of questions, which is good, I can’t wait to get my hands on it when it releases in June.
