GAME is going back to the Stone Age this month as 49 stores kick-off 2016 in pre-historic style with a tour of Far Cry Primal sampling events. The special openings will give gamers a chance to get their hands on the much anticipated title a month before its release.
Should you be a fan of the series, heading over to www.game.co.uk/events and finding your nearest GAME store running the sample event will allow you to get hands on with the latest release ahead of the general launch date.
You can also pre-order the game in-store ahead of launch on 23rd February, including the GAME exclusive Legend of the Mammoth Special Edition. This edition includes 3 extra missions, the ability to drink from the shaman’s cup to play as the mighty mammoth, stomping enemies and defending herds against prehistoric peril.
Events will be taking place in store weekdays from 12-5pm and weekends 11–4pm.
Check out www.game.co.uk/events for further details on the GAME Far Cry Primal Tour taking place at a store near you.
Gamers must be 18 and ID will be required to take part and play.
We’ve received an alarming number of reports this morning of retailer Game cancelling pre-orders placed online for the Pip Boy edition of Fallout 4, due out in a mere few days.
So far this seems to be affecting both the Xbox One and PS4 version of the special edition that includes the Pip Boy replica, with emails circulating from game claiming problems with payments methods holding up the pre-order process. It also doesn’t appear to be restricted to any particular kind of payment, effecting PayPal, credit and debit method.
Gamers are hitting Twitter hard to complain and try and glean answers from Game, who themselves have admitted to being swamped with customer service enquiries today.
We’ve also tried contacting Game via phone, online chat, Twitter and email and have had no response, as well as a whole manner of issues with the customer services phone system. If we learn more then we’ll be sure to update you, but if you’ve pre-ordered Fallout 4’s Pip Boy edition from Game you may want to check your emails.

Game’s customer services Twitter account has responded to the issues regarding online pre-orders of the Fallout 4 Pip Boy edition. See the image below.
Hopefully those effected will soon be contacted via email.

Emails from Game are starting to arrive in inboxes, asking customers to provide their order number, phone number, and preferred time for them to be contacted. With a little luck all affected customers who pre-ordered the Pip Boy edition online through the retailer will be contacted and a solution found for getting the collectable version of the game in their hands. If we hear otherwise we’ll be sure to let you know.
