Voodoo Vince Remastered review

Cast your mind back 14 years. If you’re anything like me then remembering yesterday is a task. Voodoo Vince was released on the original Xbox and has been sat, gathering dust on the developer’s shelves all this time. Beep Industries have however, given the Clayton Kauzlaric title a bit of a polish and released it back to the masses.

I haven’t played the original but remember it being released. PC gaming had most of my attention back then but I’m glad I have a chance to play now in all it’s HD glory. The video below is the review of Voodoo Vince Remastered so give it a watch and see if you agree. Don’t forget to subscribe to the TiX YouTube channel for streams, games and more reviews.

Original Xbox title Voodoo Vince set for remaster

I bet you’re scratching your head slightly thinking Voodoo who? Well Voodoo Vince was originally released in 2003 for the original Xbox…yes that long ago. I have vague memories of Voodoo Vince but to be honest I was big into PC gaming at the time so this one passed me by slightly. That being said it seems developer Beep Games haven’t forgot and they are wanting everyone to experience the joy that is Voodoo Vince.

Voodoo Vince is a 3D platformer that see’s Vince solving puzzles and destroying enemies by doing damage to himself in creative and unusual ways. Voodoo Vince will be bought bang up to date with 1080p visuals at 60 fps etc and it looks like a lot of fun. For those that don’t remember here’s the cover from the original game to jog your memory.

Any clearer? Either way it’ll be something to look out for. Voodoo Vince will be available on Xbox One and Windows 10 but there’s nothing to suggest it will be a Play Anywhere title. So yet another remaster on the horizon, is there anything the developers are missing? does something need remastering that hasn’t? Should remasters be left alone now? With Project Scorpio on the horizon are we going to remasters of remasters? If you have an opinion on remasters or anything else gaming related let us know on our Facebook or Twitter.
