Warhammer 40,000: Eternal Crusade coming to Xbox One

BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment Europe and Behaviour announced today that Warhammer 40,000: Eternal Crusade will be available on the Xbox One starting summer 2016.  For the first time, Warhammer 40,000 fans will be able to join their favorite factions in the fiercest and most authentic Warhammer 40,000 battles ever realized in a massive online shooter.

Based on the multimillion-selling and extensive universe of Warhammer 40,000, Eternal Crusade will take gamers into a vicious battle between four factions of the 41st millennium in order to control a persistent world at war. Whether it is PvP (Player versus Player) or PvE (Player versus Environment), squads will have to work together and engage in massive battles in order to exterminate the other factions. To do so; players can choose from twenty different sub-factions, earn hundreds of weapons, customization options and accessories drawn from 29 years of Warhammer 40,000 lore to create their perfect warrior.

Warhammer 40,000 : Inquisitor – Martyr announced

w40K_LOGO_1920x1080_TransparentYou may not have heard of NeoCoreGames, but they have a pedigree when it comes to the RPG Genre. Primarily focusing on PC Games, their recent partnership with Games Workshop has allowed them to spread their wings and flex their developer muscle that little bit more, and the result of this is the forthcoming Warhammer 40k: Inquisitor – Martyr.

True to their back catalogue, this will be an action RPG set in the visceral and popular world of Games Workshop’s 40k universe and will see the players step into the grim and secret war among the stars, as agents of the ever-vigilant Inquisition.

Once you have finished the main campaign, the game continues in a sandbox style set in the same sector of this ever expanding universe. After the end of the campaign the story continues in a colossal sandboxed game set in the same secluded sector of this vast universe.

NeoCoreGames have promised gradual development and a continuous flow of content to their Action-RPG gameplay.

“There’s a reason why we chose the world of Warhammer 40,000: it’s intense, brutal, visceral – a perfect material for an Action RPG. Working with Games Workshop, we’re doing our best to bring a high quality game to the community. We’re huge fans as well, so we care deeply about this game.”

Zoltán ‘Pozs’ Pozsonyi, Producer, NeocoreGames

A Warhammer 40,000 action RPG has been notably absent from our portfolio of video game licenses so far and its great to finally be able to talk publicly about this wonderful game that the guys at Neocore have been working so hard on for some time now. Their previous action RPG’s are very impressive and we feel privileged to be partnering with them on this game.

SPACE HULK : Deathwing to show at E3

Focus Home Entertainment and Streum On Studio have teamed up to revisit one of Games Workshops most beloved board games.

Built for Solo play and co-operative multiplayer where you can team up with friends to form a squad of terminators, allowing you to eliminate genestealers as a group.

In my opinion it has been far too long since the seminal 1993 PC/Amiga title which scared the hell out of my 13 year old self, and I for one will be watching this title very closely.
