EA have listed Titanfall 2 as an ‘exclusion’ to their EA Access program, which means that there won’t be early access or discounts for its members, which is bound to cause quite the stir.
Titanfall released onto PC and Xbox One with the intention that its sequel would possibly launch across all platforms. With its first entry onto PlayStation, could this be the reason why EA aren’s releasing the game early onto Xbox One through EA Access and at a discount?
Star Wars Battlefront was a title that seemed to favour PlayStation over Xbox, with the game heavily branded and shown off on PS4 at EGX. There were also some exclusive goodies for PlayStation players, but that didn’t stop the game from appearing first on Xbox through EA Access – and at a discount – you could even play the game on trial to see if you liked it.
Sadly this might not be happening for Titanfall 2, it might not even appear in the vault – so unless you played in the technical tests, you will have to wait for the reviews as to whether the sequel is a mecha hit or one mech of a fail.
