Typoman

Brainseed Factory have finally gotten around to announcing a release date for their Indie hit, Typoman. Initially released on Steam last year, to critcal acclaim, Typoman sees you slip into the role of a character made of letters.

Your hero has to struggle to make their way through a dark and hostile world. Despite your small size, you have a powerful ability. You can construct words in order to alter your environment. You must choose your words carefully though, they can be either a blessing or a curse.

So, in this surreal, dark atmospheric world, you wield the power of altering the world by creating, changing or destroying words. Using this power, your hero can solve ingenious and challenging puzzles with a unique mix of typography and pen and ink graphics.

The story promises to be a captivating, carefully drafted, on-the-fly tale using witty word puzzles and puns. The game itself will feature a distinct specifically composed soundtrack and will offer Leaderboards, Achievements and two unlockable Mini Games.

So, it’s your job to guide this unlikely and unusual HERO to find the last letter and restore hope in a merciless world and the question remains; when am I likely to be able to start this quest?

Well, it won’t be long, for Typoman Revised should be hitting the Xbox One from the 17th of February, with pre-orders available now with up to 20% off the £10.39 (or equivalent) retail price.

Here’s the official release trailer, followed by the console teaser.
