Ubisoft Announces Ghost Recon Network

As well as dating the anticipated multiplayer beta for Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, comes the news of a Ghost Recon Network. Described as a free companion service that will support all Ghost Recon titles from Future Soldier and upwards.

The Ghost Recon Network which sounds a little like a Ubisoft branded equivalent of WayPoint and ELiTE, will be accessible via an App from smartphones, tablets, and web browsers, allowing gamers to interact with Ghost Recon games anywhere at any time. Key features of the network include being able to customise and share your new weaponry, track stats and other players – and receive exclusive rewards for use in-game.

The Ghost Recon Network site (www.ghostrecon.com/network) and v1.0 iOS & Android apps will launch with Ghost Recon: Future Soldier on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on May 25th, 2012. A beta version of the Ghost Recon Network will be accesible for players in the upcoming Multiplayer Beta on April 19th via the website.
