Evolve was always going to take the UK chart crown from Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare – it’s been gathering pace and hype for weeks, regardless of the somewhat iffy DLC cloud that had been cast over its launch. I never bought into the hype – the concept of Evolve didn’t grab me and neither did the beta, but after some glowing feedback from my friends I bought it anyway and I absolutely love it, particularly playing with friends.
The Legend of Zelda also enters the chart this week but Link couldn’t quite handle the multi-platform sales of 2K’s monstrous multiplayer shooter. Speaking of Monsters, Monster Hunter 4 is the third new entry this week taking up number 4 on the chart while Advanced Warfare clings on to a podium position in third.
Here’s how the rest of the chart looks for the week ending February 14.
