World of Tanks coming to Xbox One

World of Tanks coming to Xbox One

Wargaming have announced that free to play, heavy artillery speciality, World of Tanks, will be coming to Xbox One sometime in 2015.

IGN have reported that the game will allow for cross-platform play with the Xbox 360 version and will be updated at the same intervals as it’s stable-mate.

User accounts will be shared too, allowing existing 360 owners to carry over their WoT account and not have to start from scratch.

Live Gold members will be able to download and play for free, and choose to buy additional items via in-game purchases. The 360 Edition offers a 7-day trial for Standard Live membeship, but it’s unclear whether this will be an option for the Xbox One version.

IGN have also been privy to the Xbox One announcement trailer, which I can’t seem to find anywhere else online, so, with thanks and proper reference to IGN, here it is.
