Xbox reveal plans for Gamescom 2016

Xbox Live’s Major Nelson has released a statement from Aaron Greenberg, the general manager for Xbox Games Marketing outlining what there is to expect at this years Gamescom in Cologne. In just over 4 weeks time the now sold out Gamescom 2016 will be well underway and a horde of excited gamers will invade the Koelmesse in Cologne with sweaty hands all ready and eager to play the latest titles in gaming. Aaron Greenberg has stated that there will be numerous high end titles ready for everyone to play including Gears of War 4, Forza Horizon 3, Halo Wars 2 and Sea of Thieves. Whilst Microsoft will not be holding a media briefing they are having what appears to be a more intimate event in the form of a fan fest for everyone to enjoy, however there are no details on this yet.

The event will give an exciting opportunity to look closer at Microsoft’s E3 announcements such as Play Anywhere, some all new Xbox Live features and not to mention Windows 10 integration. With the new range of Xbox devices on the horizon could we possibly see a glimpse of what to expect? Let’s hope so. If you’re heading over to Cologne then feel free to hit us up at TiX with some gossip and pics but if not then keep a close eye on all social media formats because I’m sure it’s going to be an exciting one.
